Is the MySol® really suitable from birth?

Yes, absolutely! As one of the few baby carriers on the market, the MySol® can indeed be used ergonomically and correctly right from birth. With just a few adjustments, it can even be used for premature babies. It is no coincidence that the MySol® is already in use in many neonatal units in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.

What do the different weave types mean for the MySol®?

Our baby carriers are sewn from our handwoven sling fabric. This can be made in twill, herringbone, diamond, and honeycomb weaves. With slings, the different weaves have different carrying properties. However, you don't need to worry about this with our MySol® and WrapMySol baby carriers – because two layers of fabric are used and there are also seams, the weaves do not play a role in terms of their special properties. So you can simply buy what you like best. :)

Our baby carriers are responsibly handmade. High-quality handwoven production is only possible with years of experience and is very time-consuming.Surcharge due to increased weaving effort:Some weaving patterns such as diamond, herringbone, and honeycomb are even more complex to produce, which is why products with these weaving patterns are more expensive, as we want to pay our weavers fairly. There is also a surcharge for many color changes in the fabric due to the increased effort.However, the weaving patterns make no functional difference. The cheapest product is just as suitable for you and your baby as the most expensive one. So you can simply choose what you like best.Surcharge due to the use of plant dyes or recycled yarnBoth our plant-dyed products and our products made from recycled yarn are slightly more expensive due to higher raw material costs. In return, you receive a particularly sustainable product.

The MySol® is an alternative or supplement to a baby wrap, allowing you to carry your child safely, comfortably, and ergonomically on your front and back from newborn to toddler age.

The MySol® was developed by Girasol in collaboration with experienced babywearing consultants, lovingly woven and sewn by small craft businesses in Guatemala:

To ensure the MySol® brings joy for a long time, it is designed to grow with your child: The panel between the legs is infinitely and easily adjustable, which is important for adopting the squat-spread position and promoting healthy hip development, especially in the first year of life.

A very special feature is the patented double tunnel:The back panel can be extended so that the carrier fits securely and comfortably even after the first major growth spurts. The hip belt can be threaded into the lower tunnel from approximately clothing size 74/80.

With the version that has a buckle hip belt, you are acquiring a so-called half buckle. Especially when carrying on the back (possible once your baby has head control), it is easier to use with a buckle hip belt. If different people are using the MySol®, the buckle hip belt must be adjusted to the wearer each time, but this only takes a few seconds.

The MySol® is made from two layers of high-quality cross-twill baby wrap fabric, which molds to the carried child like a second skin, providing optimal support.

The integrated, adjustable hood supports the head during sleep and protects from the sun; the neck area can be adjusted in width. Padded shoulder straps and a padded and stabilized hip belt also make the MySol® comfortable for the wearer.

We deliberately avoided complicated adjustment options during development, but instead included a supportive chest strap for back carrying and a practical hip pocket for important small items such as a wallet, keys, smartphone, etc.

Der MySol® ist eine Alternative oder Ergänzung zum Tragetuch, mit der Du Dein Kind vom Neugeborenen- bis zum Kleinkindalter sicher, bequem und ergonomisch vor dem Bauch und auf dem Rücken tragen kannst.

Der MySol® wurde von Girasol in Zusammenarbeit mit erfahrenen Trageberaterinnen entwickelt, liebevoll gewebt und genäht von kleinen Handwerksbetrieben in Guatemala:

Tragewissen, fairer-Handel und Handarbeit für ein inniges und komfortables Trageerlebnis.

Damit der MySol® lange für Freude sorgt, ist er zum Mitwachsen ausgerüstet: Der Steg zwischen den Beinchen ist stufenlos und unkompliziert verstellbar: wichtig für das Einnehmen der Anhock-Spreiz-Haltung und die Förderung einer gesunden Hüftreifung - insbesondere im ersten Lebensjahr.

Etwas ganz Besonderes ist der patentierte Doppeltunnel: Das Rückenteil kann so verlängert werden, dass die Trage auch nach den ersten großen Wachstumssprüngen sicher und angenehm passt. Dazu kann der Hüftgurt etwa ab Kleidergröße 74/80 in den unteren Tunnel eingefädelt werden.

Bei der Variante mit Schnallenhüftgurt erwirbst Du einen sogenannten Halfbuckle. Vor allem beim Tragen auf dem Rücken (möglich ab Kopfkontrolle Deines Babys) ist die Anwendung mit einem Schnallenhüftgurt einfacher. Wenn verschiedene Personen mit dem MySol® tragen, muss der Schnallenhüftgurt jeweils an den Tragenden angepasst werden - das dauert aber nur wenige Sekunden.

Der MySol® wird aus zwei Lagen des hochwertigen Kreuzköper-Tragetuchstoffs hergestellt, der sich wie eine zweite Haut um den Tragling schmiegt und so für die optimale Stützung sorgt.

Die integrierte, anpassbare Kapuze hält das Köpfchen beim Schlafen und schützt vor Sonne, der Nackenbereich kann in der Weite reguliert werden. Gepolsterte Schulterträger sowie ein gepolsterter und stabilisierter Hüftgurt machen den MySol® auch für die Tragenden bequem.

Auf komplizierte Verstellmöglichkeiten haben wir bei der Entwicklung bewusst verzichtet, dafür einen entlastenden Brustgurt für die Rückentrage und eine praktische Hüfttasche für wichtige Kleinigkeiten wie Geldbörse, Schlüssel, Smartphone etc. beigefügt.

Achtung: Wenn Dein Baby dazu neigt intensiv an den Trägern zu nuckeln, bitte die entsprechenden Stellen regelmäßig punktuell reinigen. z.B. mit Gallseife. Ansonsten kann es in Zusammenhang mit unserer naturbelassenen, nicht chemisch ausgerüsteten Baumwolle zu Verfärbungen an der Trage kommen. Alternativ empfehlen wir einfach ein Spucktuch um die entsprechenden Stellen zu wickeln welches dann regelmäßig in der Waschmaschine gereinigt werden kann.
